Meals ordered by children attending a Sodexo partner school

Through So Happy App it is possible to manage lunches of children who go to a school that works together with Sodexo to offer meals to its’ pupils.

This is how we’re able to provide more information and a detailed overview to the parents, cashless purchases for pupils and less administrative labor for the school.

Benefits for the parents:

Parents can access the schools’ menu and daily choose and pay for a meal up front. The child simply has to identify him/herself at the school, for example using a badge.

Aside from this the parents as well as the children get full information about the available meals through the app: Ingredients, nutritional values, allergens,…

Benefits for the children:

Parents can charge up the badge with money. The child can use that to make purchases in the restaurant, but also use it to buy snacks or drinks from the vending machines at school. So the child doesn’t need to have cash on person and the parents can easily follow up what has been consumed.

Benefits for the school:

The whole system is digital and cashless. Because of this Sodexo greatly facilitates the administrative labor for the school. If needed, the financial transactions can even be executed directly between the parents and Sodexo Belgium SA-NV.
