Soft Green IT Platform

The Soft Green IT Platform is an integrated hardware and software system designed to support the operation of the Emergency Reporting operational center. The operational center serves as a contact point for citizens who live or pass through the place where the operational center is located and the immediate surroundings.

The main goal of the platform is to strengthen the operational and institutional capacity of local authorities in charge of emergency situations and disaster prevention, and thus the mitigation and prevention of environmental disasters and catastrophes by emergency reactions in target areas. The manner in which this is achieved is based on gathering information on important natural, environmental and social hazards and events in the target area, and informing and alerting citizens and relevant institutions.
