You opened an app for one thing, then stayed longer than you meant to.

Sway adds a brief pause before the app you choose. Take a breath, then decide whether to leave or continue.

A moment to choose, not a hard block

When a selected app opens, Sway shows a 3–8 second pause. You can choose not to open the app immediately, or continue after the countdown. Sway does not block every launch or make the decision for you.

Start with one app

Free includes protection for one app, basic personalization, and the last seven days of history. You do not need a Sway account for the core experience. Automatic protection requires your Accessibility setup and a selected app.

Make the pause fit your day

Choose Gentle, Balanced, or Firm. Pause length adapts within that mode's range. Hourly limits and rest periods reduce repeated interruptions. Some launches, including quick returns, skip the pause.

Feedback shapes the next pause

Sway uses outcomes and feedback you record to adjust its built-in pause suggestions on your device. It is not a chatbot and does not generate conversations. It does not guarantee behavior change or improved focus.

Optional Plus, when you want more

Plus adds protection for multiple apps, day and time schedules, 30- and 90-day history, weekly reports, and detailed rules. Monthly and annual prices and automatic renewal terms are shown in Google Play before purchase. You can cancel your subscription in Google Play.

Your history and learning stay on device

Pause history, selected app lists, and personalization data are stored on your device. You can delete them in the app. Subscription checks use purchase tokens and product identifiers; the verification server stores hashed identifiers and subscription status.

Accessibility is used for automatic protection

Sway uses the Accessibility service only to identify when an app you selected opens in the foreground. After a separate explanation and consent, you enable it yourself in Android settings. Sway does not read screen content, typed text, passwords, messages, screen images, or key input. You can turn off the permission at any time.

Sway is not a medical or mental-health treatment service. It does not diagnose addiction or completely block other apps.
