task4brain is a calm daily routine of cognitive exercises designed for adults — typically over 60. Ten to fifteen minutes a day across seven cognitive areas. No mascots, no leaderboards, no exaggerated claims.

Each day the app composes an automatic, balanced session across seven cognitive areas: attention, language, memory, calculation, executive function, gnosis (visual recognition, spatial perception), and orientation. Open. Do the session. Close. That's it.

No mascots. No confetti. No "great job!" pop-ups. No rankings or comparisons with other users. We treat you as an adult, because you are one.

▸ AN INITIAL ASSESSMENT, NOT A DIAGNOSTIC

The app starts with a 5–10 minute baseline assessment to calibrate difficulty. It is not a medical diagnostic. It is a starting point for your own routine.

▸ 43 EXERCISES, SEVEN AREAS

Attention (sustained focus, selective attention, processing speed), language (vocabulary, verbal fluency, comprehension), memory (recent, working, contextual), calculation, executive function (planning, inhibition, flexibility), gnosis, orientation. All designed by educators familiar with cognitive stimulation literature.

▸ OPTIONAL GAMES, SEPARATE FROM EXERCISES

If you want something lighter, there's an optional games section: Sudoku, word search, hidden word, crosswords, word builder. Strictly separate from the structured daily exercises.

▸ FAMILY CAREGIVER VIEW (PIN-PROTECTED)

Multiple profiles on the same device — useful at home, in residences, or day centres. PIN-optional per profile for privacy. Caregivers can see evolution charts and export a PDF report to share with the doctor.

▸ ACCESSIBILITY BY DESIGN

Large text by default. High contrast. Text-to-speech for reading exercises. No scroll within exercises. Adult tone throughout.

▸ PRIVACY, ABSOLUTE

Your data stays on your device. No cloud account. No analytics. No advertising IDs. No tracking. The only internet activity is Google Play subscription verification. Confirmed in our public Privacy Policy — same version we submitted to Google Play.

WHY task4brain

We built task4brain because we couldn't find an app that respected our parents' age. The brain training category was either gamified for younger users or clinical with promises it couldn't keep. task4brain is the third option: a quiet daily routine, built for adults, with no claims it cannot keep.
