Tena started off her entrepreneur from home as a small tailoring unit, more as a hobby, when she was expecting her first child. However, she hasn’t got any proper education in the field of fashion. After that, she realized she couldn’t relegate her aptitude for fashion to the sidelines anymore that’s when she went into partnership with Taimur Shah. Then things turned into full organization set-up from the small project. Now, she successfully runs her business with a team of more than 200 people.

Uber-talented and passionate Tena is the best example of empowering women in Pakistan’s fashion industry. Her brand deals in bridal, casual and formal wear.The label Tena Durrani was established in 2005. Now, it’s been 14 years since Tena started working in the industry and has successfully proven herself as a topmost designer and fabricated the label which has renowned for exquisite Resham embroidery. She drives her muse from Mughal era of Art and Architectures and infuses them with needles and threads to give birth to masterpieces.
