Torch

Torch is a free app without ads and without interface that lets you use your smartphone as a flashlight.

This app is fast and easy to use : just press the icon to turn on or off the camera flash.

If your smartphone has an Android version greater than or equal to Nougat 7.1.1 (Api Level 25), you can additionally use the SOS signal and the strobe mode. To access these features, long press the app icon.

Torch app characteristics :

• Is easy to use (no GUI) ;

• Is free without ads ;

• Turns on or off the camera flashlight with a single click ;

• Continues to operate when the mobile is in standby mode ;

• Add shortcuts to access the strobe effect or to emit a SOS signal in Morse code (requires at least Android Nougat 7.1.1) ;

• Takes up little space in your smartphone's memory ;

• Is not a widget.

Permission :

Torch uses your camera LED as a light source, that’s why the camera permission is required to access the camera flashlight.

In no case does the app take pictures or collect personal data (photos, contacts, messages, etc.).

Warning :

Prolonged use of the flashlight can drain the battery of your smartphone. Use the flashlight only when necessary.
