About upCurrents

a news and update aggregator and player of DZUP and UP-FM

upCurrents is your go-to app for things UP (University of the Philippines). It automatically gathers UP-related news, updates, RSS feeds, videos, event calendars (music, sports, arts, academic).

UP is teeming with academic, cultural, musical, and artistic events. Needed is a mobile app that makes it convenient for UP students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community at large to stay updated with UP news and events.

upCurrents also plays UP-FM and DZUP. UP-FM is a 24/7 online music radio of the University that showcases campus bands and indie music in the Philippines. DZUP (live broadcast: 10am-8pm, Monday-Friday) is the AM radio of UP.

upCurrents includes UPinionator, a section that gathers opinion columns by UP faculty.
