About VPMaker (Testing Only)
Feel the music physically in vibrations. Creation app for the VibePlayer app.
VibeMaker is part of the VibePlayer project. The VibePlayer app allows you to feel the music/audio physically in vibrations. The VibeMaker app allows you to create vibration data to be used with the VibePlayer app. If you are new to the project, visit the VibePlayer page, for more information.
The VibeMaker app uses a simple design to allow users to easily create vibration data. If you like tapping on a surface, while listening to your favorite song, then you already know how to use this app.
A user creating vibration data for a song, for example, would start the recording of the vibration data, and the song plays for the user to hear. Then, the user taps an area whenever a musical note starts and releases it when the note ends, then repeats for all notes.
The VibeMaker app supports Lollipop 5.0+ devices while the VibePlayer app works for Jelly Bean 4.3+. You can use a Lollipop emulator to create vibration data, if you have an old device. After creating the data, copy vibemaker.mp3 and vibemaker.mp3.vibs from the emulator's storage root, to the root of the internal storage in your device.
Make sure you read the mini guide for using the VibeMaker app, by tapping "?" to the top.
Update: Video support has been added. You are now able to create vibration data for one audio/one video file of choice.
