Vrata Reminder

This app provides a luni-solar Saka calendar information on all the pancha-angas of nithya-kala viz., Tithi, Vara, Nakshatra, Yoga and Karana.

The key feature provided is a simple way of setting "Reminders & Notifications" for important "tithis" in a month such as Sankastahara Chathurthi, Ekadashi, Pradosham or any user-defined event. The reminders can be set from the "Settings" section of the app.

Timing of the notifications can be set as to when the reminders should get fired, e.g on event-date or prior to the event-date. The app also lets the user define their own customized reminders such as birthday's, anniversary and others.

The calendar operates in "Amavasyant" mode (i.e., month starts with Amavasya). This variety of calendar is primarily followed in states like Andra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
