Users can host both in-person or over the Internet hangouts using live streams.

In order for the app to work as intended users need to give us permission to access:

(a) SMS: We do two step verification. So we will text you a login pin code. We also send redeem codes to you, so you will need this code to validate tickets to a hangout.

(b) Phone Contacts: As a Host or a Guest you may want to invite your friends & family to join you for a hangout you create or are thinking of joining. This allows you to select a person from your phone contact list an send them an invitation easier.

(c) Calendar: By connecting your calendar we try to connect Hosts and Guests with availability times and dates so everyone can be in attendance. We also will update your calendar with any cancellation of hangouts.

(d) Location: We use location to show you the closest hangouts to your location. If you live in Los Angeles, California and want to attend an in-person hangout in Los Angeles, we do not want you to sign up for an in-person hangout taking place in London England. However, if you are currently visting London England, you would see the hangouts going on in London England and not the hangouts going on in Los Angeles. We also use it to give you map directions to the hangout. Think of it as locating an Uber.
