WakeProof is a QR alarm clock for heavy sleepers and anyone who keeps oversleeping. Place a QR code or barcode away from bed, then scan it to dismiss the alarm, get up, and stay awake.

HOW WAKEPROOF WORKS

1. Create a one-time or repeating alarm.

2. Register a QR code or barcode in another room.

3. Run the built-in reliability test before relying on the alarm.

4. When the alarm rings, get out of bed and scan the saved code.

5. Use an optional wake-check to confirm that you stayed awake.

PRIVACY-FIRST BY DESIGN

WakeProof stores only a cryptographic hash of your registered code, not the raw QR or barcode value or camera images. Alarm labels, scan-code contents, and wake-up history stay on your device. No WakeProof account is required.

IMPORTANT

No mobile app can promise alarm delivery in every device state. Notification and alarm permissions, alarm volume, battery restrictions, Do Not Disturb, device-manufacturer behavior, force-stop, and operating-system policy can affect alerts. WakeProof uses Android exact alarms and full-screen alarm notifications when the required access is available, with a high-priority notification fallback. Use a backup alarm for safety-critical situations.
