WEXT Radio is the Capital Districts only listener-supported radio station with an eclectic mix of music. From blues to rock, from indie to alternative, from singer-songwriters to pop, the station brings together a mix of music that is significant, unique and compelling. WEXT Radio brings a handful of nationally syndicated programs that focus on a unique music mix together with local DJs who love all kinds of music, and specialty shows that highlight all kinds of great music. Of special importance to WEXT is its commitment to the local music scene, the Local 518. WEXT plays at least one local song per hour, and dedicates itself to furthering the cause of local musicians.
