📺 Charlotte is notified when you join her

If you launch Netflix (from the icon in WitchApp or from anywhere), a notification will be shown to your friends already using this app for a few seconds. These notifications work on any apps you share.

💬 Chat with your friends

By clicking on your friend's picture, you can exchange messages. The green light shows whether your friend is using his phone. You could ask Jonathan to take part to friendly war or Charlotte to join you and your friends to go see a movie.

WitchApp is currently in public beta. If you have received an invitation from a friend, you'll access the service right away. Otherwise, you can download the app to get in the queue. It shouldn't be too long before you get to the top of the queue.

✉️ Invite your best friends

Create invitations to connect with your friends and share the apps you use.

You can share the codes with them any way you like: email, sms, Whatsapp, Snap, etc... even on a postcard (but be careful as the codes are case-sensitive) !

Only your friends see the apps you share and you can adjust which apps you share in the app settings. By default, games, entertainment and social apps are shared.

Collected data are all necessary to run the service using the permissions asked during the setup:

- Usage log access: so the app knows which app you use

- Battery optimisation disabling (Android 6+): so the app can run in the background. Don't worry we're extra careful not to drain the battery.

- Display on top of other apps: so we can tell you when a friend joins you

- Camera: only if you want to take a new picture for your profile

- Storage: only if you want to select an existing picture for your profile

❔ FAQ & SUPPORT

The permanent notification is needed to run in the background. It displays which app you share if any. On Android 7 and more, you should be able to hide the "Apps sharing" category to hide it. We recommend you keep the "Friends' messages" category to see when you get a new message.
