Press anywhere, pull back, and let go. Your Pal flies into the pile — and when it lands against another Pal of the same Family and the same Rank, the two become one Pal of the next Rank up.

A merge leaves a hole, and the pile rushes in to fill it, which is how one good shot becomes four. Line the shot up so the prediction touches its twin and the merge pays triple.
