Al-Al'yak (Arabic: العلق - Clot) is the ninety-sixth sura of the Qur'an. Meccan Sura. First sent to Surah al-Qalam. Consists of 19 verses.

The Surah indicates that it is Almighty Allah who is the creator of man and a source of knowledge, but man is able to transcend limits.
