Ibn Sirin is Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Sirin Al-Basri (653 AD - 729 AD), the great Tabi’i and the powerful imam in interpretation, hadith, jurisprudence, and interpretation of dreams, and the leader in asceticism, piety, and honoring one’s parents.

Ibn Sirin heard from Abu Hurairah, Ibn Abbas, and from many companions. He was a hadith scholar, jurist, imam, abundant in knowledge, a scholar in the interpretation of dreams, a pious head with humor, and he did not see narration in the meaning.
