Romten is a service developed for companies that employ or are considering hiring foreign employees, and is a service that checks for fake residence cards in order to prevent illegal employment.

Step1:　

Launch the app and enter your residence card number or upload a photo.

Step2:

When a foreign employee's residence card is held over a mobile phone for 10 seconds, information from the IC chip embedded in the residence card will be displayed.

Step3:

By comparing the card with the real one and checking for any discrepancies, applicants with fake residence cards can be identified before being hired, leading to the prevention of illegal employment.

By presenting reliable information on the residence card (residence status expiration date, confirmation of employment status, etc.), we will create an environment where employers can hire foreigners with peace of mind.

Additionally, the "Romten" app does not provide support for administrative services. It has no relation to government agencies or services.

■Features

In addition to personal information such as name, nationality, date of birth, and address, the IC chip information provides the following information that must be confirmed before hiring.

・Verify your identity by comparing it with the photo registered with the Immigration Bureau

・Confirmation of type of residence status

・Confirmation of accurate work permit

There are laws that must be followed when hiring foreigners.

In the unlikely event that the employer neglects to check the residence card at the time of hiring, and a worker uses a fake residence card to work illegally, the employer will also be held responsible.

If you are charged with "promoting illegal employment," you may be sentenced to up to 3 years in prison or a fine of up to 3 million yen, based on the crime stipulated in Article 73-2, Paragraph 1 of the Immigration Control Act.
