The Department of Journalism & Communication at Hong Kong Shue Yan University offers applied journalism education to those who seek to work in the media industry in Hong Kong as well as in Southeast Asia. The Department was launched in 1971, and has become one of the major Journalism and Public Relations & Advertising higher education establishments in Hong Kong. Undergraduate students actively participate in different news publications and media broadcast, including Our Voice, Shuo Online, JC Radio, HKNews, etc."
