ATAK Plugin: μControl

μcontrol (SpicyController) is an ATAK plugin that bridges your Android device to USB-connected microcontrollers, enabling hardware control directly from the TAK ecosystem.

WHAT IT DOES

Connect Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico, or any serial-compatible microcontroller to your Android device and send commands without leaving ATAK. Perfect for field-deployable hardware like sensors, actuators, relay switches, lighting rigs, or custom equipment.

KEY FEATURES

- USB Serial Communication

Connect to microcontrollers via USB OTG. Supports common baud rates and serial protocols. Send commands and receive responses in real-time.

- Remote Command Delivery

Send commands to μcontrol users on other devices through your TAK server. Long-press any μcontrol marker on the map to send commands to that operator's connected hardware.

- TAK Integration

Native ATAK plugin architecture. Appears in your toolbar, uses familiar dropdown interface, and integrates with the TAK ecosystem you already know.

- Zero Cloud Dependency

All communication flows through your existing TAK server infrastructure. No Spicy Corp servers involved. Your operational data stays within your network.

- Command Presets

Save frequently-used commands for quick access. Build command sequences for complex operations.
