**Security & privacy**

Atum Projects runs on Microsoft Azure with TLS in transit, TLS + at-rest encryption on the database, HttpOnly + Secure + SameSite session cookies, HMAC-signed session tokens, bcrypt password hashing, an explicit pending-approval workflow for new registrations, and per-project role gating on every route. Your project data stays in your Azure tenant; nothing is sold or shared to third parties.

**Performance**

Server-side rendered dashboards, HTTP/2, edge-cached static assets, and a compressed transport keep page transitions fast even over mobile networks. The mobile shell is a lightweight WebView pointing at the production Azure endpoint — always up to date, no forced app updates for feature releases, minimal on-device storage.
