Car Alarm Sounds

A car alarm is an electronic device installed in a vehicle in an attempt to prevent theft of the vehicle itself, its contents, or both. Car alarms work by sounding a high-volume sound (often a vehicle-mounted siren, horn, pre-recorded verbal warning, car horn, or a combination thereof) when the conditions necessary for their operation are met. These alarms can also cause the vehicle's headlights to flash, may notify the vehicle owner of an accident via a recall system, and may break one or more electrical circuits required to start the vehicle. Although inexpensive to acquire and install, the effectiveness of these devices in preventing vehicle theft or robbery when the only effect is sound seems negligible.

Use car alarm sounds to prank your friends or coworkers, and send them running to the parking lot or the street to check their car! Set an alarm, but once the car owner is out, turn off the sound before you can tell if it's your car or the car next door. Repeat a few times to see how long it takes to get into the challenging game!
