The Connecticut Independent Utility Workers, Local 12924 is an independent labor union representing the approximately 228 Greater Hartford bargaining unit employees of Connecticut Natural Gas ([CNG], a division of UIL Holdings), a regulated public utility, and The Hartford Steam Company ([HSC], a division of DCO Energy affiliate Energenic), a non-regulated supplier of steam and chilled water to downtown Hartford.
