Commentary on the Parables of

These are homilies 44-64 of St John Chrysostom's (347 - 407 AD) commentary on the Gospel according to St Matthew. These homilies focus on the parables and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ.

John Chrysostom is honoured as a saint in the Oriental Orthodox, Eastern Orthodox, Catholic, Anglican, and Lutheran churches and is considered one of the greatest preachers of all time.
