Defapp - Personal Security

Imagine you are being harassed or are in an emergency situation. Maybe even in an emergency situation where you can't speak. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to use your phone at that moment to send a silent or even a loud alarm, your location to your emergency contacts, create an evidence video and have a means in hand to defend yourself?

That's exactly what Defapp was designed for.

Defapp uses your phone's features to effectively protect yourself, defend yourself, preserve evidence, send a call for help, or all of the above.

Defapp ensures that your phone will not lock until you consciously do so. So triggering the configurable defense mode, which includes notification functions, an intense strobe, a loud alarm sound and recording an evidence video, is possible even when you have your phone in your pocket.

How does Defapp work?

In order to operate Defapp even when you're under a high level of stress, the entire screen becomes a single button that responds to the following gestures:

- Swipe in any direction 


to turn the flashlight on or off (only on devices with available flashlight)

- Tap twice


to send one or more push help messages. In settings, you can set whether to send your message repeatedly and whether to add your current location.

- Long touch or shake


to start the defense mode. Defense mode includes all the options you have enabled in the settings.


Defense mode includes, in addition to the notification features:


- A flash to irritate and blind a possible attacker, 


(only on devices with a flash available),


- a loud, very noticeable alarm sound to draw attention to you,


- the recording of a video to preserve evidence.

You can combine all functions to achieve different effects. For example, it is also possible to configure Defapp as a silent alarm, as an emergency app that guarantees you maximum attention, or as an effective means of self-defense.
