Maritime vocational high schools

The maritime vocational high schools (LPM) are spread over the metropolitan coast, including 5 in the Great West. They offer initial training courses:

Shipping and Merchant Navy:

Whether on deck or at the engine, the trades of the merchant navy make it possible to sail on many types of boats. Captains, sailors and mechanics ensure the maneuvers, maintain the ship and the engines. They perform various tasks on board, but work together for the same missions: to guarantee the safety of passengers and to bring the goods to their destination.

Fisheries, marine culture and seafood products:

Fishing, cultivating oysters, raising fish respond to a common challenge: helping to feed the population.
