(glomerule is functionnal part of kidney).

The diagnosis of kidney failure usually is made by creatinine clearance and glomerular filtration rate (GFR).

we used four formules to estimate creatinine clearance or glomerule filtration rate (gfr):

- MDRD : Modification of Diet in Renal Disease

- Cockcroft & Gault

- CKD-EPI

- Schwartz : for childrens between 1 to 12 years

This application also gives the stadification of the chronic kidney disease (CKD), and the signification of each stade.
