Grativiajes - Where trips happen

Join the largest travel community in Latin America, join Grativiajes!

We're a big family! We look every day for more collaborative ways to travel since 2012, and we recently reached more than 120,000 members! We present you here the first version of our app for mobile devices, where you can contact other travelers anywhere in the world, no matter where you are. You will have the option to make plans and share resources with them and travel in a more sustainable, funny and committed way.

In Grativiajes you will be able to create different types of plans:

Whether you have a vehicle and look for passengers to lower costs and make the trip more funny (#GiveRide), or need a ride to get to your destination (#GetRide), in Grativiajes you can do it! Create your plan in a couple of seconds, and it will be available and reachable for the whole community.

But this is not the only thing! During your trip you can also set up “hang out” plans, such as visiting touristic spots around the place where you are and share the experience with other travelers who are also visiting the city. That's not the best thing! You can also offer your own experience by creating cultural or gastronomic activities in your city, and interact with those who seek for more original ways to travel and meet other people at the same time.

Something we all also need during any trip is accommodation. With #ShareDigs we want to offer the possibility to those who venture to know more about the culture of a place, by living a few days with local people, saving some money to continue traveling. In the same way if you have space in your house (or even a place to build a tent) do not hesitate to share it! Or maybe you just rented a huge bungalow at the beach and you want to share the costs.

Grativiajes is a travel community which was born in Argentina, within Facebook, during 2012. During these last 6 years we contributed to generate thousands of exchanges and collaborations, and by the end of 2017 we reached the magical figure of 120,000 users, considering members of Uruguay, Chile and the rest of Latin America. We are also very happy to say that there is a significant number of foreign travelers who visit our region and look for help and advice within the group.

Although the community was born with the initial objective of being a “carpooling focused” group, the community grew significantly in many other ways, always based on the solidarity and commitment to help. Actually Grativiajes has become today a “reference source” where anybody can give and ask for recommendations on places, routes, accommodations, and safe places to visit.

Since the beginning of 2017 the family enlarged with the arrival of Tripsaround, a European travelling community which shares our same principles and values. In 2018 we will improve the user experience of the community with the launch of a website and this app for mobile devices. We hope you will find it useful and will help us to make it better day by day with your precious feedback.
