Hearts

Play Hearts, the classic trick-taking card game, against three computer opponents. You can play without an internet connection.

HOW TO PLAY

• Take as few penalty points as you can: every heart is 1 point, the Queen of Spades 13.

• Before each deal you pass 3 cards to an opponent: to one side, to the other, then across. On every fourth deal nobody passes.

• Whoever holds the 2 of clubs leads the first trick. Follow the suit that was led if you can; the highest card of that suit takes the trick.

• No heart and no Queen of Spades on the first trick, and hearts cannot be led until a heart has been played.

• Take all 26 points in one deal and you shoot the moon: you score 0 and each opponent scores 26.

• When someone reaches the winning score the game ends, and the lowest score wins.
