Biblical Hermeneutics: The correct interpretation of the Bible

Hermeneutics The word comes from the Greek 'ermhneuw (hermeneuô) that

meaning explain, interpret, translate.

It is the science that establishes and classifies the principles, rules and methods

by which it ensures the meaning of a text.

Biblical hermeneutics hermeneutics is limited to the interpretation of the

Bible. It is therefore the science that establishes and classifies the principles, rules and

methods by which the scriptures is determined.

The first step of exegesis is to acquire a sound understanding of

text. It is this overarching goal we seek in this application. exegesis

cultural history, then the application will then expand from there on

a sound basis.

The division of the biblical text into chapters and verses is due to French,

Robert Estienne, printer friend of King Francis I (French Bible published

1553). If this division of the text presents the advantage of quick and easy identification

texts, it has the disadvantage of establishing the idea that the Word of God is a

assembly of small independent units. Too often doctrines were

developed from a phrase or even a word out of context.

Moreover, the popularity of the allegorical interpretation has often led to

developments quite foreign to the original thought of the inspired authors.

The interpretation method presented here is based broadly the

book "Hermeneutics" by Eric Lund and P.C. Nelson.

We have learned many application examples of the experience of many

year ministry of teaching in Francophone countries around the world.

This hermeneutical method is based on the principles of logical thinking and

linguistics, and therefore applies to both original texts (Hebrew, Aramaic,

Greek) as translations in French and local languages.

It proves the use of great practical efficiency to solve

many difficulties encountered by the reader of the Bible.
