Homework Planner

Welcome to the Homework Planner.

For each course at school there are papers, exams, assignments, etc. Some things require more time to do than others, and they are due at different time.

This app helps you organize and plan your tasks and readings for the courses you are taking this term. You enter course information, and for each task you enter a start date and a due date. Then, at any time during the term, the Current Tasks screen of the app shows those tasks that you need to be currently working on. The colour of a task starts green and changes to red as the due date approaches. Tasks that have been marked as Completed will not show up in the Current Tasks list unless the Show Completed box has been checked.

Courses are added in the Course List screen, and clicking on a course shows the Course Detail. This shows the name, a link to the course website, and notes. From the Course Detail screen the course can be edited, deleted, exported, and imported. The Task List and Reading List buttons take you to the tasks and readings for the course.

Tasks are added in the Task List screen, and clicking on a task shows the Task Detail. This shows the name, description, start date, and due date. Tasks that are past their start date show up on the Current Tasks list. The task can also be marked as Completed. From the Task Detail screen the task can be edited or deleted.

Similarly readings are added in the Reading List screen, and clicking on a reading shows the Reading Detail. This shows the name and notes for the reading. From here the reading can be edited or deleted.
