How KissPay works

Unlike traditional ways of showing appreciation through gifts, gratuity and donations, KissPay connects the patron directly with a recipient via a fun, simple and unique mobile app.

A patron who wishes to show appreciation opens up the KissPay app and sends 'Kisses' to an individual or group @KissID. The recipient receives this appreciation in real-time on their KissPay app in the form of KissCredits. Each KissCredit received represents one US dollar. Patrons can top up KissCredits and recipients can request 'Kisses' or 'Group Hugs' via an individual or group @KissID.

What about fees?

KissPay does not charge to top-up KissCredits (Patrons) or redeem KissCredits (Recipients). Instead, one KissCredit is withheld * from the recipient every time they receive a transaction. Recipients can accumulate and redeem KissCredits on to a personal KissPay branded prepaid debit card in their local currency **. No bank account, no fuss.

* At the end of each calendar month withheld KissCredits are offset against accrued Service fees with any remainder (in whole) credited back to the Recipients account. Please view our Terms of Service for further details.

Is KissPay Safe?

Absolutely! KissPay is limited to appreciation on a 'there and then' basis. Time based functionality on KissCredit purchases along with limits on amounts sent and received ensures it is not used for anything other than what it is intended. KissPay boasts anti-money laundering features and high levels of fraud protection due to these restrictions.

What about my privacy?

KissPay has an 'Incognito' mode meaning as a patron you can choose whether showing your appreciation to a recipient is anonymous or not. If you are an individual recipient of KissPay, only your @KissID, chosen profile picture and description is publicly available. For 'Group Hugs' we may show additional beneficial information such as physical location if it is a coffee shop etc. Credit card and other personal sensitive data such as location tracking is never stored on your device or on our servers.
