Matan Alfiyah Ibnu Malik

If you are a santri, especially santri at the Nahwu Islamic boarding school, you are certainly no stranger to the phenomenal book Alfiyah Ibn Malik, which amounts to more than 1000 stanzas, discussing extensively related to Nahwu. The book of Alfiyah Ibn Malik itself is often the book that is discussed in the final classes of Islamic boarding schools.

If you start learning nahwu using Jurumiyah, then you go up to nadzam Imrithi, then proceed to Ibn Malik's Alfiyah book.

Alfiyah Ibu Malik began in the 13th century, written by an Arabic linguist born in Jaén, Spain named Ibn Malik (d. 672 H / 22 February 1274 AD). Together with the Al-Ajurrumiyah book, the Alfiyah Book is among the basic books to be memorized for pesantren students other than the Al-Qur'an to deepen Nahwu Science and has at least 43 explanatory books (syarah).
