--- THE MEMRY STORY ---

With an explosion of number of pictures and videos taken, the Swedish Start-up MEMRY now

challenges Facebook and Instagram on creating and sharing albums!

The founders of MEMRY – Peter Jundin and Pelle Kjellqvist were on the music festival Way Out

West in Gothenburg, Sweden, sitting on the train back to Stockholm, going through all photos and

videos from the weekend. They wanted to share all their amazing moments to their friends, however,

they didn’t want to spam their Instagram feed neither did they want to share their moments to

Facebook, which have become a hysteria of links and advertising, as well as thousands of “friends”

you hardly know.

Then and there – MEMRY was born! A social platform where users easily can create beautiful epic

albums, combining both photos and videos into the same album, that can either be shared with

friends and family or just kept private.

A MEMRY album is presented by a cover photo, which is editable, describing your love, your

weekend in Paris or your passion for fashion! This feature add a new dimension to the story. Exactly

like the cover of a music album.

--- MEMRY HEROES ---

Since the birth of MEMRY, famous and influential Scandinavian bloggers have used the MEMRY

platform, as a mix between a traditional blog and Instagram, presenting new clothing lines or their

everyday life.

Since these bloggers and influencers have millions of followers on other social platforms, from

Instagram to YouTube, and since they push all their devoted followers on to the MEMRY platform,

we have given them ”MEMRY HERO” status. This mean that they are always presented as our

ambassadors in the explore/search view, visible as soon as you download MEMRY. So all new users

will always have great content to see and follow, no matter if their friends are on MEMRY or not.

--- THE MEMRY CLOUD ---

Through MEMRY, we solve people’s problems with the storage of their photos and videos, by

being sorted into albums. All MEMRY albums created, are automatically stored in the MEMRY

Cloud. Our users always have their important and most precious moments safely stored, even if they

would delete their photos and videos on their phones because of lack of space, or by mistake.

Since our users sort their most important pictures and videos from the start by themselves, when

creating an album, there is never any clogging in the cloud of thousands of screen dumps, selfies or

unwanted content. MEMRY ‘s users do their own sorting, and therefore no need for any advanced

algorithms trying to decide what’s important to you or not. Our users decide themselves what’s

important to save.

According to a survey from august 2015, made by the Swedish research institute Novus in

Stockholm, more than 50% of all survey attendees (3.038 people), had the problem of running out

of space on their smart phones, which means not being able to take any more photos or videos. The

majority of these people (73%) deleted their old photos and videos, in order to take new photos and

videos.

--- THE FUTURE ---

The future of MEMRY includes a “Direct sharing” function – Sharing to all followers, selected

groups of people or specific individuals. Also, a web interface for filtering and organizing of your

and your friends albums, as well as a photo book function, making it possible to order a MEMRY

album as a physical photo book. Within 90 seconds, you will be able to create a photo book of

selected MEMRY albums, sent to your location, all around the world. So stay tuned! ;)
