Mobile Device Identification

This application serves as a proof-of-concept application to test new mobile device fingerprinting (MDF) techniques. It is part of a master thesis research study.

First and for most, thank you for participating in this study.

This Android application is part of a broader device fingerprinting study. We try to determine

and understand how Android devices can be uniquely identified and tracked across time and applications.

In order to achieve that goal, this application uses some device information, e.g., installed

applications, contact information, the history of your calls and a hardware identifier from your built-in flash chip.

For privacy reasons all this information will be cryptographically hashed. This means that in no

circumstances I or any other person can see your raw, personal data.
