MovieFy

Put your footage to work with MovieFy, a video editor for personal projects, hobbies, and creative experiments. Give a recording a clear purpose, whether you want to show something you have made, explain an idea, or explore a subject that interests you.

CREATE FROM WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE

A cooking session, a model you are building, a gardening update, or a practice recording can become the starting point for a video. Work with your own footage and choose a subject that gives your project direction.

FIND A REASON TO MAKE A VIDEO

• Show what you make: create a video about a craft, a recipe, or a hands-on project.

• Share an interest: introduce a collection, a hobby, or a place you know well.

• Reflect on progress: work with recordings of something you are learning or practicing.

• Explore a detail: build a video around one object, activity, or observation.

• Try a new idea: give existing footage a different creative purpose.

KEEP YOUR PROJECT FOCUSED

Before you begin, think about what you want someone to take away from the video. It might be an appreciation for a process, a closer look at a subject, or a glimpse of work in progress. Use that intention to guide your editing choices.

MAKE ROOM FOR SMALL PROJECTS

A video can begin with a modest idea. You can make something for your own reference, for someone who shares your interests, or simply for the enjoyment of creating it. MovieFy brings video editing to these personal projects, one idea at a time.
