Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, is Internet personality, businessman, and philanthropist. He has been credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that centers on expensive stunts.

Donaldson was born on May 7, 1998, in the state of Kansas. Donaldson was mainly raised alongside his older brother Charles "C. J." Donaldson in Greenville, North Carolina. In 2016, Donaldson graduated from Greenville Christian Academy, a private secondary school in the area. He briefly attended East Carolina University before dropping out. Donaldson's brother, also a YouTuber who makes similar content to his brother's who goes by MrBro, has more than four million subscribers as of June 2022.
