NaegeleLITE: OB wheel

NaegeleLITE is a simple multi-language gestational age calculator & due date counter. It is an application intended for health workers, however, it has a simple interface that can be used by anyone. NaegeleLITE and other versions of the application (Naegele) were developed to replace pregnancy wheel and provide further functionality. The video on the Google play store shows how to use the application. Application has there screens through which you can slide. Application contains only banner adds at the bottom.

1) Gestational age calculator (First screen): Besides due date, several other weeks are calculated for the purpose of antenatal visits and provide a simple guidance for the gestational period. NaegeleLITE uses first day of the last menstrual period (LMP) for the calculations, the module requires only the month and day, you do not need to enter the year for calculations. Further calculation modalities and modules are provided in the Naegele application. All of the calculated results can be copied to clipboard as unformatted text via touching on the results.

- Info button in the first screen provides brief information about dating the pregnancy.

- Report button, which prepares a concise follow-up plan for the gestational period. The report appears in a popup window and automatically copied to clipboard as unformatted text.

- Register button, on press it uses the current LMP on the selection sliders for registration to the due date counter.

2) Due date counter (Second screen): In this screen you can register patient info with LMP via plus button on top. NaegeleLITE count the remaining days to due date that is 40 gestation weeks completed. When it passes 40 weeks, the numbers will be negative. The colors of the labels start to change within the last 6 weeks every two weeks. When the labels are double-tapped, the record can either be changed or deleted.

3) Settings (Third screen):

- Application language: NaegeleLITE currently has 6 language choices including English, Turkish, German, Italian, French, Spanish. When the preferred language is selected from the drop-down list, application will close itself and the changes will take effect after restart of the application.

- Weeks for calculation: User is able to change the weeks that application calculates. There is a string of numbers separated by commas in the text input box. You may add, delete or change the string, bu the format is strict which should contain only numbers and commas.

The user data in the settings and due date counter is stored in the application folder. During application updates the data will persist, however if you uninstall the app all data will be deleted and lost permanently.
