NTC Control

NTC Control is designed for quick diagnostics and basic configuration of the START, SMART, and SIGNAL GPS trackers. The application allows you to connect to and manage devices either locally via Bluetooth and USB or remotely over the Internet.

Key Features:

The application may request the following permissions:

- Your location — is a mandatory permission; without it, the app will not function properly. Access is required to ensure proper operation of your smartphone’s Bluetooth module; without it, working with Bluetooth devices will be impossible.

- Storage — is a mandatory permission; without it, the app will not work correctly. Access is required to save firmware files, configurations, tmi files, and app settings to the smartphone.

- Bluetooth — required to connect to supported devices.

- Contacts — optional. Allows the application to display the contact list when connected to a device via the Internet (RCS).

Recommendations:

- if your app does not “see” devices via Bluetooth (but the devices are displayed in the phone’s Bluetooth settings), check whether you have granted the app permission to determine your location, and also whether you have enabled the location‑based function in the smartphone’s settings.

Debug logs of the application are written to the smartphone’s internal memory in the application folder: ../Android/data/ru.navtelecom.ntc.control/files/

To send the logs to the technical support service:

On the main screen, go to “Technical Support”, select “Send application logs” and specify which files need to be sent (it’s better to send all :)).
