Peinture Fraiche Festival 2023

The Peinture Fraîche festival returns for its 5th edition from October 11 to November 5, 2023!

This year, the international street art & technologies festival leaves the Halle Debourg to settle for 4 weeks in the former Fagor-Brandt factories transformed into a real field of expression for 75 French and international artists.

This new edition celebrates the very essence of urban graffiti by paying tribute to the legendary "Writers" and "Graffiti artists" whose cryptic messages and lettering redefined street art. The soul of this movement, long overshadowed by the growing fame of street art, is offered a showcase of recognition during this festival.

On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the disappearance of the legendary 5 Pointz, we mark the occasion by illuminating the intricacies hidden behind these often indecipherable letters. This is how the exterior walls of Fagor become the scene of a passionate meeting between the streets of Lyon and the indelible heritage of 5 Pointz thanks to the talent of international, national and local artists.
