From a bike lock to a banking app or your work PC, keep the numeric codes you use in PIN Vault. Store card PINs, computer sign-in PINs, safe combinations, keypad codes and more in colourful grids, protected by your device screen lock or a supported strong biometric.

Pick the cells that matter to you, add random decoy digits around them, and remember your own reading order. Give each PIN or combination its own grid so it is easy to find when you need it.

Your grids are encrypted on your phone. Password-encrypted backup files let you keep a separate copy and restore your grids on a new device.

Your codes, your pattern

Choose cells for the digits of your PIN or numeric combination in a 40-cell colour grid. Fill decoys completes the gaps without changing your chosen digits. Give each grid a useful name without including the code or a clue to your pattern.

PIN Vault remembers the cells you choose, but it does not store the order you read them in. The colours and decoys are a memory aid; encryption protects your saved data.

Private by design

Grid names, digits, colours and chosen-cell markers are encrypted before they are saved. Unlock once with your screen lock or a strong biometric, then view, edit, save and back up while you stay in PIN Vault. Switching apps, using an external link or file picker, or locking your phone locks the vault. Unlock again when you return.

Leaving the app clears sensitive grid content from the screen. Screenshots and recent-app previews are blocked on vault screens. Save your edits before switching apps, as unfinished work is cleared when you leave.

Find your cells when you need them

Swipe between saved grids. Hold Show PIN to highlight your chosen cells, then release to hide them. Keyboard, screen-reader and switch controls provide explicit ways to reveal and hide PIN-cell details.

Back up and restore

Create a password-encrypted backup through Android's file picker and save it where you choose. Preview a backup before restoring. Keep matching grids already on your phone, use the backup versions, or replace all your grids.

Backups are portable between devices. Keep a usable backup and its password somewhere safe: PIN Vault cannot recover a forgotten backup password or unreadable local grids without a usable backup. There is no automatic cloud sync.

Two grids included

Save up to two grids for free, with up to six selected PIN cells in each. Random decoys fill the rest of each 40-cell grid. A one-time PIN Vault Pro purchase through Google Play gives you unlimited grids and lets you choose all 40 cells. There is no subscription. Encryption, device authentication and local backups are included in both versions.

Existing larger grids stay usable if Pro stops being active, but their selected-cell count cannot grow. Restores follow the same free limits: importing a new grid above six PIN cells needs Pro, including on a new device. Backups are never trimmed.

Use the same Google Play account to restore Pro. Your purchase does not back up your grids. Previously verified Pro access works offline; Google Play checks and updates purchase access when available. No PIN digits, grid layouts, grid names or backup passwords are sent to Google Play.
