ಭಾಷಾಂತರ ಎಂಬುದು ಬಹಳ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ ವಾದ ವಿಷಯ. ಒಂದು ಭಾಷೆಯಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಭಾಷೆಗೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವ ತರ್ಜುಮೆ ಬಹಳ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲೂ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಹಕ್ಕು ಮಂಡನೆ ಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯುವುದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಹೀಗಿರುವಾಗ ಕುರಾನ್ ಅನುವಾದ ಎಂಬುದು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಬೇಕಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂದು ಚಲಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಲವಾರು ತಥಾ ಕಥಿತ ಅನುವಾದಗಳು ಖುರಾನ್ ಆಗದೆ ಅನುವಾದ ಮಾಡುವವನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಮಾತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹಲವಾರು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳಿವೆ. ಖುರಾನಿನ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ, ವಿವರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಷ್ಟೇ ಸಾಧ್ಯ.
