Radio Tezulutlan Estereo

Shortwave frequencies of Radio Tezulutlán were inaugurated on 15 January of 1,975, by Bishop Juan Jose Gerardi and P. Bernardino Ness.

Its primary objectives were to evangelize and accompany rural communities, encouraging their socio, economic and cultural development in transmitting predominant languages ​​in the territory of the Diocese of Verapaz: Q'eqchi', Achi, Pocomchí, and also encouraging Castilian predilection for culture and education, music.
