RVU Review

Introduction.

We think that the technology has changed our life and made it better in many aspects and the opportunity for more development is always available. The aspect that we are concern about in our application is, how people can make smart decisions in general but especially while buy stuff or demanding services. Our main aim is to have better products, services and markets and this made us think about businesses as well. It’s obvious that this matter is essential in our lives and we believe that any improvement in it will be reflected positively in our lives.

The Idea.

We approached to our idea through two facts that we believe in: -

Everybody in the world is receiving services, buying products, visiting places and doing many other activities. While doing all these activities people got some kind of experiences, had first impressions and built opinions about whatever they went through. In the other hand, there are many people did not encounter the same experiences, however they may need them in the future. It is always better to get an idea about anything you are planning to do and to know what people think about it. This helps you to make better decisions especially if those people were your relatives, friends or any other trustful people.

All the information that the customers, users or visitors exchange between themselves are very important to the manufactures, service providers and shop owners. There is no better way to improve the works than receiving valuable feedback. The customers satisfactory is the real success for the businesses.

Starting from these two facts we thought about building an application and we called it RVU. It’s a rating and reviewing application designed as a social media app to be a platform that gathers the users with experiences and new users which need these experiences. The application is also accessible by the businesses owners as well.

It’s important to us that the users look to RVU from there different angles.

1. As a space where users can express their opinions freely and share their experiences with others.

2. As reference that the users can use to collect valuable information from people they know or do not know via communication facilities that the app provides.

3. As a useful indication that helps the business owner to improve their performances and services

How to use

Any user can simply register and start his/her profile page with a short Bio, personal photo and background picture. The profile will contain all the ratings and reviews done by the user, lists of the followers and followings and all the media (photos and videos) posted by the user.

If the users is welling to rate anything and write a review about it they can use the “add review page” where they can write the name of anything they want to rate or review, rate it, select a category for it from a ready made list, include its location if any, write a comment or a review about it and attach photos or videos related to it. Users can add reviews about coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, supermarkets or even movies and TV shows.

With any new review or rating a special page will be created. This page will gather all the reviews done for the same entity and it will show the average rating as well. Obviously the page creator will be the first user who writes the name of the reviewed entity and any user can be the first. In the same page users can add a review that will automatically include the name, the category and the location for the reviewed entity so it will be easy for the users to build a page that can be a useful reference for the other users.

On the timeline page which is considered to be the main page user can see the ratings and reviews done by people they follow.

RVU intended to be user friendly and all its features are designed to achieve this goal. We believe that there is a lot to be done and our team is working continually for that.
