The configuration of your satellite dish requires a lot of calculations and skills to know where the satellite is, to make sure that the installation frees you from obstruction. Satellite dish helps you find and direct your antenna with a minimum of hassle.

Satellite Director (Satellite Finder) is a tool that will help you set up a satellite dish. It will give you the azimuth, the elevation of the satellite director and the inclination of the LNB for your GPS site and the list of selected satellites.

Satellite Pointer Application is a tool that will help you set up a satellite dish. It will give you the azimuth, elevation and LNB tilt of your position according to the satellite selected in the list.

How it works?

Just turn on the GPS in the rental of your phone or GPS, select the desired satellite or satellite TV rental. You have found the satellite when the white ball is in the white circle and the cyan ball is in the cyan circle. Align, in azimuth, the satellite dish with the cyan arrow, the satellite dish is aligned with the satellite.

Selectable audio tone, camera preview, continuous mode (no pause), color selectors, or a satellite-defined position can help you find the desired satellite TV.

You can take a picture (resized) by pressing the direction tab. The photo / screenshot is stored ONLY on the phone's memory card.

Satte Finder is a tool which will help you to set up satellite dish. It will give you azimuth,

elevation and LNB tilt for your location (based on GPS) and chosen satellite from list. The result

is shown both as numeric data and graphical

Compass works only on devices with compass sensor (magnetometer)

If app found your location, you must select desired satellite.

To do this you must find icon with magnification glass and tap it.

On the list you will find all satellites with elevation angle above

zero degrees. Remember: satellite name doesnít affect the calculation of angles.

How it works ? In 3 steps or screens:

1- Select the desired TV satellite

2- The GPS location of the satellite dish and the GPS location of a target (or reference point) are required. The target may be the GPS location of a house, tree, plant, etc. Simply turn on the GPS in your phone or enter the GPS coordinates using Google Earth / Maps (satellite dish position and visible target position).

3- Set the elevation of the dish and the inclination to the calculated values, see screen 3. The satellite pole must be in the vertical position. With the GPS positions set, hold the phone above the satellite dish and aim for the center arrow labeled "target" on the target. Then steer the satellite arm towards the arrow called "satellite". The success of satellite research depends on the accuracy of the phone's GPS and the stability of your hands. KEEP THE TELEPHONE PAID STABLE TO THE TARGET !!!
