ScreenClipper: screenshot copy

ScreenClipper does one thing, and does it well: every screenshot you take goes to the clipboard by itself. Then just paste it anywhere: a chat, an email, a document or from your keyboard.

HOW IT WORKS

• Turn on auto copy and allow photo access. The app then sees only new screenshots, from the screenshots folder, taken after you turn it on.

• Take a screenshot as usual. In a few seconds it is ready to paste.

• The app's home shows the last screenshot copied and how long until it expires.

ALSO WORKS WITHOUT PERMISSION

Rather not allow photo access? Use manual mode:

• From share: after the screenshot, tap Share and choose "Copy screenshot".

• From the Quick Settings tile: pull down, tap the ScreenClipper tile and pick the screenshot.

YOU'RE IN CONTROL

• Copy lifetime: the app keeps only the last screenshot, in its internal folder, for 10 minutes or 1 hour. Then it deletes it.

• Quick pause: pause and resume from the Quick Settings tile, with no ongoing notification.

• Sensitive screenshots: an option marks the copy as sensitive. Some phones hide the preview, but some apps may not paste or keep the screenshot. The mark does not stop clipboard sync done by the system.

PRIVACY

• The app has no internet access and sends nothing to anyone.

• No ads, no account, no analytics and no third-party SDK.

• It doesn't list, show or keep your other photos.

• Important: the system clipboard is open. Any app you paste into can read the screenshot, and whatever you already pasted stays with that app. Some phones also sync the clipboard with your other devices on the same account; that is done by the system and can be turned off in the phone's settings.

TIP

So screenshots don't lag, set the app's battery usage to unrestricted. The app helps with this on first launch and only wakes up when a new screenshot appears.
