Our humble beginnings trace back to the year 1937 when a small group of just seven individuals came together with a shared passion for the divine hymns of Thiruppugal. Since then, every year, the Sabha celebrates its annual festival as the 'Brahmothsavam' in the month of Aani to this day. During the occasion, it conducts the grand 'Sukila Paksha Kumara Sashti' festival.

From Seven to a Global Family: Over the decades, our family has grown exponentially. Today, we stand as a global community, with members scattered across the world, all united by our dedication to chanting, reading, and reciprocating the divine hymns of Thiruppugal. It is a testament to our collective commitment to preserving and propagating this precious heritage.

Evolving into a Trust: As we've continued to expand our reach and deepen our engagement with the timeless verses of Thiruppugal, we have evolved in a more structured and refined manner. We've transformed our passionate Sabha into a formal trust, allowing us to better serve our mission and extend our impact to even more corners of the world.

Registered Trust: Currently, we are the “Sri Murugananda Sangeetha Thiruppugazh Sabhai,” a charitable trust registered under Section 12AA of the Income Tax Act, located in Thiruchendur, Tamil Nadu, India. We are dedicated to making a positive impact on society through our charitable activities and initiatives. Our 12AA registration reflects our commitment to transparency, accountability, and the pursuit of charitable objectives. As the name suggests, our mission is to spread the divine hymns of Thiruppugazh. Our members from around the world passionately read, recite, and celebrate the divine verses of Thiruppugazh, spreading the message of spirituality, devotion, and unity.

Temple-Thirupugal Chitra Sabai: We are proud to have built a temple, Thirupugal Chitra Sabai, in Thiruchendur. We've woven the divine verses of Thiruppugal into the very fabric of our temple. This sacred space is not only a testament to our unwavering commitment to preserving and promoting the spiritual heritage of these hymns but also a place where devotion and reflection intertwine. Our temple stands as a symbol of cultural and spiritual continuity, a commendable endeavor that enriches the lives of our community and perpetuates the timeless teachings of Thiruppugal.

Purpose of the App and Website: As our Sabha flourishes with a dedicated community of approximately 6,000 members spanning the globe, a vibrant tapestry of daily activities unfolds within our sacred space. From the recitation of Thiruppugal to the solemnity of poojas, the purity of homas, enlightening classes, and the timeless resonance of Vedic practices, our Sabha is a hub of spiritual fervor. To nurture this spiritual journey and ensure active engagement, we recognize the pressing need for an accessible online platform. This platform will serve as an invaluable bridge, enabling our global community, trustees, and fervent Lord Murugan devotees to seamlessly contribute, support, participate, and continue their spiritual growth, regardless of their geographical location.
