In its latest Cargo Theft Annual Report, TAPA EMEA reports criminal attacks on supply chains in 56 countries across the region and a 25% year-on-year increase in the loss values of stolen products, ranging from clothing and footwear, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and hygiene goods, computers/laptops, phones, food and drink, cash, metal, furniture and household appliances, tobacco, tools and building materials, and many more. Today, virtually every type of product is a target for cargo thieves, with the average loss for major incidents over the latest 12-month reporting period of €529,348 per crime.
