DISC is a model based on the work of Dr. William Moulton Marston (1893-1947) to examine the behavior of individuals in a given environment. For Marston, there are four basic types of behavior, and such behavioral responses occur from the combination of two dimensions: an inner one (referring to the perception of personal power in the environment) and an external one (perception of environmental favorability). As a result of this matrix we have the following factors: (D) Dominance, (I) Influence, (S) Stability and (C) Conformity.
