Note: Some Pic microcontrollers, Timer0 operates only in 8 bits, check the datasheet if you have any doubts. Another important issue is to be aware of the fuses bit settings, for example Pic 18f2550, depending on the selected settings, the total time for the timer0 interruption to occur will be affected.
