Varaha Farmer app is a tool to onboard farmers onto Varaha's carbon farming program. Through this app they can register themselves, provide farm boundary and practice information. Farmers following regenerative agriculture practices are rewarded once their practices are validated using remote sensing technology and 3rd party audit. Practices such as Direct seeding of rice, No-Till farming, residue incorporation and usage of farm yard manure constitute regenerative practices among others. Farmers who continue to follow these practices and also share data onto the App keep getting benefits of the program year after year.
